Christos Christidis

Christos Christidis was born in Thessaloniki in 1926 and grew up in Athens.

He collaborated with his uncle, the painter Stefanos Almaliotis, initially on giant posters, which he was the first to adopt, and then on Byzantine hagiography of large churches and icons. At the same time he studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts under Hubert Argyros and Andreas Georgiadis (the Cretan).

After graduation he went to Paris where he enrolled in the SOUVERBIER and DUCO DE L'HILLE workshops of the ECOLE DES BEAUX ARTS.

Returning to Greece he exhibited at the Panhellenic Exhibitions in Athens and in many group and solo exhibitions in various cities in Greece. She passed away in 2005.
