George Zoumboulis was born in Athens. He is a graduate of fine arts, with many exhibitions and awards to his credit. First prize ᾽᾽᾽In the flower gardens of Alexandroupolis᾽᾽᾽᾽᾽for the poster of the event. Distinction in Monte Carlo in a painting competition, Honorary commendation among 120 painters at the Armed Forces School. He also studied music.

He has participated in many group exhibitions in Greece and abroad and his works are in private and public collections. The press has repeatedly commented favourably on the work of George Zoumboulis.

He is a realist painter. He renders physical life with an almost faithful depiction of external reality, on the basis of many drafts. The colours he uses are warm and earthy and he knows how to combine them in an excellent way. He is a lover of nature and natural life, which is for him an inexhaustible source of inspiration and creation.
