Iason Economopoulos, born in Athens, spent many years in Piraeus, with which he was linked in many ways. He had painting lessons by the painter Takis Bakopoulos.
He then studied stage design at an Athens school, but his love of painting prompted him to devote himself exclusively to it. He is one of the few painters of our time who continue with the classical art.
His paintings have been presented in many individual and group exhibitions.
